Bed Dryer
These dryers have a bed a solid
particles which are fluidized by passing a stream of air or gas upward
through a specially perforated sheet. The upward velocity of air is so
maintained so as to slightly lifts the solid particles and set thim in
motion. This motion can be utilized to bring about mixing as well as
forward moment of the solid. The air organ is heated and heat is
utilized to dry the solid. Fines get agglomerated to large particle ls
this providing large size granules.
